FC THOR GmbH debuts at Brezelfest!

This week saw the inception of a brand new THOR team... FC THOR GmbH!

For the first time, this year 12 of our colleagues from our warehouse, logistics, production and process engineering teams entered the Speyer Companies’ Brezelfest football tournament, and were cheered on by their colleagues, friends and families.

Brezelfest is an annual Volksfest (folk festival and travelling funfair) in Speyer, Germany, which honours the symbol of the city, the pretzel! The festival has run in Speyer since 1910, to promote Speyer breweries and pretzel bakers, and to boost tourism.

Unfortunately our newly formed team’s competition debut was short-lived after a draw and two defeats, but everyone had a lot of fun and are already planning to represent THOR at future company tournaments!
