Welcoming our new apprentices at THOR GmbH

We recently said "welcome aboard!" to 11 new trainees at THOR GmbH, who have begun their chemical technician, production specialist, warehouse logistics specialist, and IT specialist/system integration apprenticeships.

As you’d expect when starting a new business, our trainees got to know each other, the business, and their respective teams, but once the usual onboarding processes were finished, everyone was invited to a special Speyer-themed team-building activity! This year's programme included rowing in a traditional boat in the Speyer harbour!

THOR GmbH has been regularly hiring apprentices to start their careers at Speyer since 2013, and has been recognised as an ‘IHK-certified company for professional apprentices’ ever since. A total of 44 apprentices and 4 dual students have successfully completed their training at THOR GmbH to date.

Currently, 23 young people are completing their training at THOR, and we are proud that in recent years some of our exam graduates have been honoured as the best at IHK Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Commerce.
